Biodata Takeru Yamato

Although merely a player for the best team in Kansai, Yamato is in actuality the real and mysterious Eyeshield 21 from Notre Dame that once fought against Kyoshin Poseidon's Shun Kakei who played for Phoenix. He is said to be the perfect runner and has great strength, speed, technique, spin the ball on one finger and even perfect body balance. Basically, he is a fellow "perfect player" like Shin. So far no player has been able to stop his run. In example of this is said by one of his teammates who says that 10 players from the Teikoku 2nd string combined are not even capable of stopping his run. In fact his is shown to only really be challenged by his fellow ace, Taka Honjo in all of Teikoku. The original person believed to be this man was Hayato Akaba from the Bando Spiders, but Shun comments that his body type is slightly different from the one he played against. Near the climax of the game against the Hakushū Dinosaurs, Marco reveals that the team that this Eyeshield 21 plays for is Teikoku, shocking both Sena and Shun. With Deimon in the Christmas Bowl, the showdown between him and Sena is now a reality. When Sena, Monta, and Suzuna go to scout Teikoku's football team, he pairs up with Sena against 4th string players to see what Sena was capable of. However, his true goal is to meet someone who can match him to the point of being able to make him use his "true style", which has yet to be revealed.
During a recent duel with Agon (of Shinryuji), it is revealed that Yamato's "true style" would have been used against Agon because Agon's God Speed Impulse could overcome Yamato's speed. Yamato almost reveals this style in the duel but his face changes when he use this style intimidating the arrogant Agon. It is revealed by Sena in chapter 283 that Yamato's speed is not faster than Sena or Shin's; however, his balance is "perfect". It is revealed in chapter 286 that Yamato can use, due to his body balance, multiple crossover steps combined with cutting steps at the same time, creating the "true" Devil Bat Ghost. Though Sena manages to still see through Yamato's DevilBat Ghost and at the same time catch him. Yamato then decided to use his true style which is "Caesar's Charge" in which he manages to throw Sena off. Though he had won his one-on-one with Sena, he still catches Yamato once again suprising everyone of the Teikoku Alexanders' players and even surprises Yamato as well. He then pushes Sena away using his "unsealed" right arm.
However, during the final 5 mins of the game, when it appears that the Alexanders had put Deimon down with another touchdown, Sena defeats Yamato's perfect Caesar's Charge with the Devil 4th Dimension Run. Yamato response to this by accelerating with all of his power at the last step diving forward surpassing the 4.2 speed and crushing Sena. This adaptation is defeated when Sena combines the Devil 4th Dimension Run with the Devil Bat Ghost.

TECHNIQUES AND STRATEGIES
- Near light speed: Yamato has top class speed considered by Agon as a super speed 'type' at first, though his speed is not as fast as Sena or Shin.
- Strength: He is very strong being able to push Ishimaru out of bounds with only one hand and block to 4th string players with only his hands to the point that they could barely talk or move. His strength is outrageous, even dragging Sena, Taki, and Koji of the ha-ha brothers along with him while doing the Caesar's Charge for at least a first down.
- Balance: he ran without slowing down right through snow that tripped up Sena, who can run through mud with hampering his run.
- Absolute Prediction: Yamato never tells lies only commenting on what he knows to be true through observations. He is then, With his massive knowledge of strategy and the tactics used by the opponent, never wrong when he makes a predictions about the game. However, his prediction that Deimon would not score once was just crushed by Monta's touchdown in Chapter 292.
- Ghost Run: Yamato uses crossover and cut steps in rapid succession creating "a mountain of ghosts".
- Caesar's Charge: Using his balance and strength, he can shakes off defensive players that hold into him. Even after he got caught, he can keep moving forward, dragging his enemies, and shaking them off. He can also use this technique on defense, closing at top speed not waiting to see which way the opponent would dodge arms spread wide he creates a perfect seal stopping his opponents from escaping to the sides or above. However, this technique has one flaw, which is demonstrated by Sena's Devil 4th Dimension Run. In the instant that Yamato tackles forward, a sudden reversal will throw off his timing, thereby allowing Sena to pass him at Light Speed. Yamato response to this by accelerating with all of his power at the last step diving forward surpassing the 4.2 speed and crushing Sena. Sena responds to this by combining the Devil Bat Ghost with the Devil 4th Dimension Run. Yamato cannot adapt to this evasion tactic as he's already committed to the charge.
Tim-Tim Di Eyeshield21

Taiyo Sphinx merupakan tim terberat di Jepang, dengan barisan line yang kuat dan Banba sebagai pusatnya.

Hakushu Dinosaurs adalah tim yang lolos ke turnamen kanto dengan cara menghancurkan semua quarter back lawan. dengan Gaou Rikiya sebagai line yang sangat kuat.

Shinryuji Naga merupakan tim terkuat wilayah kanto(sebelum dikalahkan deimon devil bats)yang langganan ikut christmas bowl. dengan Agon dan Ikkyu sebagai pemain andalan dan formasi dragon fly yang sulit ditebak.

Seibu Wild Gunmans merupakan tim dengan gaya menyerang shotgun, yaitu formasi yang menggunakan banyak receiver sekaligus. Sangat efektif karena lemparan supercepat dari Kid sang quarter back.

Ojo White Knights dikenal sebagai tim dengan pertahanan terkuat. dengan Shin Seijirou sebagai salah satu kunci pertahanan.
Demon Devil Bats adalah tim yang berhasil masuk turnamen kanto. Dan disini terdapa Eyeshield21 dan terdapat Hiruma yang sangat licik.Biodata Jo Tetsuma
A fast and quiet guy, he has a habit of following orders to the letter, and that can lead to disaster. It is very important to give him specific instructions and to watch him carefully. Otherwise, he will follow any general directions to the extreme. For example, the coach once said to him, "Go run a bit!!" so he kept running for 3 days and 3 nights, until he collapsed from hunger. During another incident, Tetsuma was told to wake Kid in five hours while on a flight to the United States, yet ends up bursting out of the back window of a bus to go look for Kid 3 hours later after arriving in Houston! (In this way he is like a golem.) Whenever Kid calls a pass route, he dashes and uses it as followed, no questions asked. This makes him perfect for his position as a Wide Receiver, since the Kid doesn't even have to look for him in order to pass. In spite of his seemingly robotic demeanor, Tetsuma is a nice person, who has been friends with Kid since they were kids.
One important note is that after the game with Deimon, Tetsuma invokes a penalty, by striking Monta when he was about to attack the referee for ruling in favor of Seibu. This was actually done to save Monta from destroying the Devil Bats' chances of playing for third place in the tournament. As a result, Tetsuma was banned from playing in the finals of the Fall Tournament against Oujou. Without him, the Gunmen lost out to the White Knights again, but Monta vows to meet up with Tetsuma again during the Kantou Elimination Tournament. However, this was not to be as the Kid is seriously injured against the Dinosaurs' monstrous lineman Gao. With him gone, Tetsuma loses control of himself and lunges against Gao while providing cover for Riku, proving no match for the massive lineman.
In the last chapter he became one of Deimon's trainers for special training for the Christmas Bowl. He trains Yukimitsu, dragging him behind to increase his speed as well as his stamina. It also serves as physical training for Yukimitsu so he can keeping his pass route tracks in spite of his low physical stats and under hard pressure.

- His name also means Iron Horse. In America they used this nickname for the steam-engine train in the old west. This gives meaning to the pass routes he is ordered to follow, which likens him to a train that cannot be altered from the track it runs. He will bowl over anyone who gets in the way on the tracks, even anyone try to stop him in illegal way will found it's near impossible to stop him. In the game against Deimon however, Monta does manage to upset his route and cause him to fumble, by aiming to his fingers, he manages to intercept the pass meant for him. Monta also manages to rip of a ball from his catches by aiming for the seams during Deimon's last Onside Kick, but it was ruled as Seibu's ball due to Tetsuma managing to touch the ground first while keeping his ball.
- In a match against the Ojo White Knights, he was the cause of a huge lead 20-7. But because he drank too much water during half-time, he cannot continue as he has to go to the toilet the entire time, causing his team to lose 20-21.
- Tetsuma senior, his father, is known for his straight driving habit (that might be inherited by Tetsuma).He will follow every sign, and ensures that his car won't be off less than 10 cm from the street border. If he found a car that parking carelessly in the street, blocking his way, he simply run over the car and used it as a shield.
TECHNIQUES/STRATEGIES
- Pass Routes - Tetsuma has drilled all known pass routes into his head and can run them like a conditioned reflex. All he needs is to hear the route called out by the Kid and he'll perfectly execute the movement. Nothing can disrupt him when he runs his routes, although Monta has made him fumble once.
Biodat Kid

Although he goes by an enigmatic cowboy name, Shien (or "The Kid") is actually from a line of nobles. His father is particularly known as a three-time Olympic gold medalist in pistol shooting, where his son gains his marksmanship both with a gun and with a football. He is a quarterback, and has one of the fastest pass speeds in Japan, possibly in the world. Kid and Tetsuma make up one of the strongest quarterback-wide receiver combinations in Japan (by high school standards), like the legendary Joe Montana-Jerry Rice combination, although to a lesser extent. Kid specializes in quick-draw shooting, where he throws the ball as soon as he receives it from the center to Tetsuma, Seibu's wide receiver (this kind of quick release is more akin to Miami's Hall of Fame passer Dan Marino). His personality is very laid-back. However, whenever he gets the feeling that things go too well, he always predicts that something bad will happen, (which usually does, such as in the Spring tournament when they were ahead of the Oujou White Knights during the first half, Tetsuma drank too much water and could not participate in the second half, ironically, his Jersey number is 7-a number considered to be lucky in America). His quote is "Something bad has to happen after something so good." He's also known Tetsuma since they were kids, accounting for how "in sync" they appear to be. Originally Kid couldn't throw and Tetsuma couldn't catch, but they practiced all the time as kids and got better. His birthday is 11/11
So far, he's the only quarterback Hiruma hasn't been able to fool or defeat. All of Hiruma's schemes against him (17 in all) fail due to Kid's sharp-mind and quick reflexes.
In chapter 242, after Hiruma shows Kid video of Rikiya Gaō's tactics on the field (with Kid correctly guessing that Hiruma's intentions were to use Seibu as "human sacrifices" against the Dinosaurs) in preparation for the Seibu-Hakushū game, Kid reveals that he has a plan to seal away Gaō. It seems as if his plan is working for now, as during the first play of the game, he managed to completed a 4-yard pass to Riku by deliberately allowing Gaō to break through the line, while he made his super fast pass at the last moment. He assumes that as long as he rids himself of the ball, Gaō would follow the rules and not crush him. However, as the game continues, Kid realizes that with each play, Gaō gets even faster and in one instance, manages to bruise Kid's arm with just a pinky. Eventually, as Seibu continues with their offensive, Kid realizes how everything he, Tetsuma and the Gunmen have done has brought them so close to the Christmas Bowl, and does the one thing that he swore he would never do - dare to dream. At this moment of weakness, Gaō flies up from behind and crushes him from behind, throwing him away and breaking his arm. Seconds later, realizing how close he was to his dream, Kid collapses on the field, taking Seibu's Christmas Bowl dreams with him. Later he is seen in the crowd during the Deimon vs Hakshuu game. It is here that he comments to the quarterback of the Alexanders ,Karin, that Hiruma will play in the Teikoru game no matter what injury.
He participates in Deimon's special training team as the QB for Monta and Ikkyu. He comments during Yukimitsu's training, that he especially grateful as quarterback if his receiver can keep his track on his pass route, even if he got hard pressed or having significantly low physical stats.

- A great sharpshooter, he's half-American and half-Japanese. The name 'Kid' is derived from the name of a famous cowboy and outlaw, Billy the Kid.
- In America, he once teamed up with Hiruma in the beach football match and used a special technique named Super Quarterback Tag. Their tosses were so fast that everyone assumed that they were using the Too Tattoos' Dancing Flea technique.
TECHNIQUES/STRATEGIES
- Quick-Draw Pass - Kid is a specialist with short fast passes as soon as he gets the ball. The time it takes for him to raise and pass the ball is 0.15 seconds, as opposed to a normal quarterback's speed of 0.5 seconds. Catching him in a blitz is near-impossible. His throwing technique is odd as well - as opposed to releasing the ball from over his throwing shoulder, Kid throws the ball from in front on himself using both hands to generate an incredibly fast spiral, in a similar fashion to pass training machines that wide receivers use.
- Route Calling - So in-synch are Kid and Tetsuma, that even once he's taken the snap, Kid can call the route for his ace receiver to run on the fly.
- Shotgun - A strategy that relies totally on passing. Instead of having one or two receivers ready to catch passes, the number is increased to four or more. The receivers spread out like buckshot pellets once the ball is snapped. This increases the number of directions in which the Kid can pass the ball. Even linebackers like Shin find it difficult to cover so many receivers at once.
- Play Action (Fake TFP Kick) - While holding the ball for TFP kick, when the kicker goes in, instead holding the ball, he pass it toward Tetsuma for 2 point conversion. He done this when realizes that the kicker (Saba) got too nervous for kicking.
Biodata Hiruma Yoichi
Hiruma adalah kapten tim sepak bola Amerika ini. Dia memiliki telinga yang lancip dan gigi-gigi yang tajam yang menyerupai setan. Dia juga selalu membawa senjata-senjata api kemana-mana. Dia adalah seorang yang licik dan kejam. Dia juga selalu memanfaatkan kelemahan orang lain demi mencapai keinginannya. Hiruma memiliki buku saku yang bernama "Buku Ancaman". Buku tersebut berisi rahasia-rahasia pribadi milik banyak orang. Dia menggunakannya untuk mengancam orang yang tidak mau menurutinya. Dulu tim Devil Bats ini hanya berisikan 3 orang saja, yaitu: Hiruma, Kurita, dan Musashi. Ketika bertanding, mereka selalu meminta bantuan dari klub lain. Lalu, pada akhirnya, Musashi keluar dari Deimon. Sehingga Devil Bats hanya berisi 2 orang saja. Maka dari itu, Hiruma dan Kurita selalu berusaha mendapatkan pemain, bagaimanapun caranya. Hiruma sangat JENIUS dan juga merupakan murid terpintar di SMA Deimon, bersama Anezaki Mamori dan Yukimitsu Manabu, meski itu masih agak misteri. Hiruma dan Agon dari tim Shinryuji Naga adalah musuh bebuyutan. Hiruma tampak sangat membenci Agon karena Agon telah membuat Kurita tidak diterima di Shinryuji. Pada awalnya, Hiruma, Musashi dan Kurita ingin masuk SMA Shinryuji yang klub American Football-nya sangat kuat. Musashi dan Hiruma berhasil lulus tes masuk SMA Shinryuji tetapi Kurita yang paling bodoh di antara mereka terpaksa tidak mengikuti tes, tetapi tes dalam bidang olahraga. Seharusnya Kurita bisa lulus, tetapi Agon malah memilih mengikuti tes bidang olahraga karena dia tidak suka orang seperti Kurita, sehingga Kurita gagal. Hiruma adalah tokoh yang paling misterius di cerita ini karena sama sekali tidak ada keterangan apapun kecuali namanya. Dia juga sangat kasar sehingga selalu memanggil nama orang dengan tambahan "sialan". Misal, untuk Sena dan Monta adalah cebol sialan, Mamori adalah manajer sialan dan Kurita adalah babi/gendut bodoh. Meski tentang keluarga Hiruma sama sekali tidak diketahui, namun sepertinya hubungan Hiruma dan ayahnya (yang belakangan diketahui bernama Yuuya Hiruma) tidak baik. Sebab ketika ayah Hiruma meneleponnya (Hiruma tidak tahu, HP-nya dalam keadaan voice mail. Yang mendengar adalah Mamori) dia berkata, "Apa ini Youichi? Ayah menonton pertandinganmu dan ayah mengucapkan selamat karena kamu berhasil menang... Ayah tahu kamu masih membenci Ayah dan bahkan kamu tidak mau mengangkat telepon dariku...,". Hiruma merupakan Quarterback jenius dengan permainan trik dan strategi yang luar biasa seperti Killer Hornet, yaitu mengumpulkan seluruh anggota tim dengan formasi seperti huddle dan lari berpencar bersamaan sehingga tidak ada yang tahu siapa yang membawa bola. Strategi ini dipakai dala pertandingan melawan Ojo dan Teikoku. Pass andalannya Devil Laser Bullet yang super cepat dan hanya bisa ditangkap oleh catcher-catcher kelas satu.

Biodata Shin Seijuurou
Murid kelas dua SMU Ojou ini adalah rival dari sena. Shin adalah salah satu tokoh terkuat dalam cerita ini, karena sifatnya yang selalu bekerja keras dan kemampuan alaminya sebagai jenius american football. Kemampuan andalannya adalah Spear Tackle, tusukan 1 lengan yang sangat kuat yang dapat menghentikan semua lawan, dan banyak pemain yang menolak membawa bola lagi karena tackle yang sangat kuat tersebut. Dan yang mengalahkan shin dan spear tackle-nya adalah Sena. Lalu Shin menyatakan bahwa Sena adalah lawan yang tangguh. Hal ini dinyatakan shin pada wawancara sebelum turnamen kanto dimulai. Sebelum pertandingan Deimon vs Ojo di semifinal turnamen kanto, Shin meminta Riku mengajarkannya metode Rodeo Drive. Meskipun pada awalnya Riku menolak, akhirnya ia mengajarkan teknik itu karena ingin melihat Shin dengan kemampuan yang sudah sempurna. Lalu Shin menggabungkan teknik Rodeo Drive dan Spear Tackle-nya sendiri. Dan menjadi teknik baru andalan Shin, Trident Tackle.

Biodata Sena Kobayakawa(ES21)
Sena adalah seorang murid SMA Deimon yang lemah dan penakut. Sejak SD, Sena sudah dijadikan budak oleh teman-temannya. Sena juga memiliki teman masa kecil bernama Anezaki Mamori (姉崎まもり, Anezaki Mamori) yang selalu melindunginya jika diganggu oleh anak lain. Walaupun begitu, Sena memiliki kaki yang (amat) cepat karena sering berlari untuk memenuhi perintah anak-anak nakal itu. Lalu suatu saat, ketika Sena berhasil lulus tes masuk, ia dijebak Hiruma untuk mendapatkan alamat rumahnya, juga memasukan banyak brosur klub sepak bola Amerika di rumahnya. Tapi, yang membuat dia manjadi tertarik ingin masuk klub karena dia ingin menjadi syumu (sekretaris klub) tersebut. Tapi, lama-kelamaan dia akhirnya bersemangat menjadi seorang pemain juga. Saat SD, Sena sudah dijadikan budak oleh teman-temannya. Dia selalu diselamatkan oleh Kaitani Riku, teman sekelasnya. Riku mempunyai kaki yang cepat dan dialah yang mengajarkan Sena cara lari cepat agar Sena tidak diganggu lagi oleh teman-temannya. Tapi, Sena malah menggunakan kemampuan larinya supaya lebih cepat saat disuruh-suruh. Sayangnya, Riku hanya 2 minggu sekelas dengan Sena karena orang tuanya pindah kerja. Tapi ia akan bertemu Sena lagi dalam posisi sebagai runnerback Seibu Wild Gunmans. Ia melatih kecepatan kakinya dengan teknik lari yang diajarkan Riku, selama 6 tahun, sehingga kecepatan larinya makin cepat.
Teknik
- Devil Bat Ghost: teknik crossover step dengan mengerem tanpa mengurangi kecepatan. Sena mempelajari teknik ini dalam 2000 km Death March di Amerika dengan menendang batu. Efek teknik ini menimbulkan bayangan seperti Sena menjadi 2 yang dapat membingungkan blocker lawan, dan membuatnya salah memperhitungkan timing yang tepat untuk tackle. Belakangan, teknik ini berkembang sebagai dasar dari teknik Sena lainnya.
- Devil Light Hurricane: disebut juga Devil Bat Tornado. Teknik ini dibuat pada saat pertandingan melawan Kyoshin Poseidon, dengan menggabungkan Devil Bat Ghost dan gerakan Spin. Menimbulkan efek putaran yang membuat teknik tackle dengan 2 tangan(seperti Anchor Grapple milik Kakei) tidak berguna.
- Devil Bat Dive: Sena melompat ke atas barisan line yang bertabrakan dengan kecepatan penuh. Hiruma hanya memperbolehkan Sena melakukan teknik ini 1 atau 2 kali pada pertandingan karena teknik ini sangat berbahaya.
- Devil Stungun : menggunakan lengannya, Sena menangkis Trident Tackle Shin dan sukses, walaupun sakitnya bukan main dan Shin melancarkan Trident Tackle lagi dari lengan kirinya. Sena mendapat inspirasi dari pertarungan melawan Agon Kongou. Teknik ini mirip dengan teknik Panther aka. Patrick Spencer dari NASA Aliens, gerakan ini mengorbankan keselamatan bola untuk lolos dari lawan. Teknik ini sedikit menggunakan gerakan jabbing dari tinju. Teknik ini berhasil dipatahkan oleh Marco dari Hakushuu Dinosaurs,yang menggunakan teknik Screw Bite.
- Devil Ghost Dive : Sena menggunakan Devil Bat Ghost dan tiba-tiba melompat ke atas lawan. Teknik ini dipakai ketika melawan Shin Seijuurou, dan digabungkan dengan Devil Stungun ketika di udara untuk menangkis Trident Tackle Shin. Shin dikalahkan oleh Sena dengan teknik ini. Teknik ini dipakai pada saat play terakhir melawan Ojo White Knights pada turnamen Kanto dan saat melawan Yamato dari Teikoku Alexander di Christmas Bowl. Tetapi Yamato bisa mematahkan teknik ini.
- Vertical Devil Light Hurricane : Sena memperkecil jarak dengan lawan, lalu mendorong sambil berputar dengan kecepatan cahaya. Dengan menggunakan tubuh lawan sebagai tumpuan, Sena berputar sambil menghindari segala serangan lawan. Dengan jarak yang sangat sempit, membuat lawan dengan teknik defensive attack yang dekat (seperti Screw Bite Marco) tidak bisa merebut bola.
- Multiple Devil Bat Ghost : Di chapter 287, setelah Yamato menunjukkan Ghost Steps "yang asli" , Sena memutuskan untuk menyempurnakan Devil Bat Ghost-nya dengan crossover step yang liar dan cut step sederhana, dapat membuat 4 "bayangan".
- Devil 4th Dimension : Teknik lari terkuat Sena, diciptakan pada saat Christmas Bowl melawan Teikoku Alexanders. Ketika berlari dengan kecepatan cahayanya,Sena melakukan backstep yang sangat cepat, tanpa mengubah kecepatannya atau keseimbangannya: melakukan ini ketika lawan sedang menackle menyebabkan tackle lawan meleset dengan sempurna. Menyebabkan Sena lepas dari penjagaan sehingga bisa bergerak dengan leluasa. Pada lawan, teknik ini berefek seperti waktu berjalan mundur(dimensi keempat). Kelemahan teknik ini adalah sesudah Sena melakukan backstep, ada periode ketika Sena mengubah arah larinya dalam sekejap. Sehingga ia berhenti. Pemain bertahan bisa menghentikan langkahnya ketika melihat backstep dan melihat ke arah lari Sena. Yamato memutuskan untuk mematahkan backstep dengan menguncinya dengan teknik Caesar Charge. Mnggunakan seluruh kekuatannya untuk menambah kecepatannya hingga kecepatan cahaya yang melebihi Sena dalam waktu sekejap, yang melebihi kecepatan Sena. Sena melakukan Devil Bat Ghost itu dengan lari mundur yang pada akhirnya dinamakan Reverse Devil Bat Ghost.Setelah itu, Yamato menyatakan tidak ada kekuatan atau bakat yang dapat mematahkan teknik ini, itu adalah "kecepatan asli".

Shinichi Kudo adalah detektif SMA yang telah banyak membantu kepolisian Jepang memecahkan berbagai kasus. Putra tunggal dari novelis misteri ternama Yusaku Kudo dan artis terkenal Yukiko Kudo, yang keduanya tinggal di Amerika. Suatu hari setelah berpisah dari Ran (gadis teman sepermainannya sejak kecil) sepulang dari taman hiburan Tropical Land, ia mengikuti dua orang pria berjubah hitam yang dicurigainya sebagai anggota komplotan penjahat semacam mafia. Ternyata ia ketahuan, dipukul hingga lemas dan dipaksa meminum obat hingga tak sadarkan diri.
Saat sadar, kedua orang itu telah pergi dan tubuh Shinichi mengecil seolah kembali menjadi anak SD. Rupanya itulah pengaruh obat yang menurut dua orang berjubah hitam itu belum pernah dicoba pada manusia. Maka Shinichi terpaksa berpura-pura menjadi anak SD bernama Conan Edogawa yang masih keponakan jauh profesor Agasa (tetangga sekaligus sahabatnya) lalu dititipkan di rumah Ran yang tinggal berdua dengan ayahnya, Kogoro Mouri.
Berkat bantuan profesor Agasa dan alat-alat canggih (atau ajaib
) buatannya, Conan alias Shinichi berhasil membuat Kogoro Mouri yang semula hanya detektif pemalas menjadi detektif terkenal dengan memecahkan banyak kasus, demi tujuan utamanya mengungkap siapa orang-orang berjubah hitam yang membuat tubuhnya mengecil. Petualangan panjang penuh teka-teki, ketegangan, roman, komedi, serta pelajaran tentang pentingnya keluarga dan persahabatan pun ia lalui dan masih terus bergulir…
Sifat
Shinichi sebagai detektif yang hebat, mempunyai kemampuan untuk menyerap data dan informasi sampai sedetil mungkin lalu menganalisisnya hingga menjadi hipotesa yang hampir selalu tepat. Itu adalah bukti ia memiliki kecerdasan luar biasa untuk menguasai ilmu pengetahuan di segala bidang, … kecuali satu bidang yang sangat sulit ia kuasai yaitu musik. Karena itu ia tidak suka dan tidak bisa menyanyi.
Ia juga punya keberanian luar biasa (bahkan cenderung nekat), dan rela mempertaruhkan nyawa untuk melindungi orang-orang yang disayanginya dalam sepak terjangnya di dunia kriminal. Singkatnya, Shinichi adalah pemuda serba bisa yang cekatan, suka menolong, setia kawan, penuh percaya diri, dan bersemangat tinggi. Karena banyak kemampuannya itu maka ia terkesan sombong, walau kehebatannya memang tak bisa dipungkiri.

Walau tidak pernah diungkapkan, Shinichi telah menyukai Ran Mouri, teman yang satu sekolah dan sering bermain dengannya sejak SD hingga SMA. Setelah tubuhnya mengecil, ia terpaksa menyembunyikan identitasnya dari Ran demi melindungi gadis itu dari incaran organisasi berbahaya yang telah mengecilkan tubuhnya.
Shinichi tetap menghubungi Ran agar gadis itu tidak khawatir dan menggunakan alasan bahwa ia sedang berkeliling dunia untuk memecahkan berbagai kasus sehingga tidak bisa menemui Ran. Sekalipun Ran berkali-kali curiga karena kesamaan karakteristik yang dimiliki Conan dan Shinichi, ia harus tetap berhasil membuat Ran percaya bahwa Conan dan Shinichi adalah orang yang berbeda.
Dengan demikian ia terpaksa membuat Ran menunggu hingga suatu saat kejahatan organisasi berjubah hitam yang ia kejar terbongkar dan tubuhnya kembali seperti semula untuk mengungkap semua yang ia alami dan ia rasakan, pada Ran…

Sebagai penggemar dan pemain sepakbola, Shinichi yang terperangkap dalam tubuh kecilnya meskipun lumayan mahir menendang barang seukuran bola tetap saja tenaganya tidak cukup untuk melindungi diri. Karena itu profesor Agasa membuatkan sepatu penguat tendangan yang dapat meningkatkan kekuatan tendangan hingga berkali-kali lipat untuk menjatuhkan lawan .
Selain itu, alat lainnya yang sangat berguna dalam penyelidikan Shinichi bersama kelompok detektif cilik beranggotakan Conan, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, Genta, dan Ai yaitu alat penyadap, handphone mini berbentuk anting, badge detektif sekaligus walkie-talkie, kacamata pencari jejak, skateboard berkecepatan tinggi menggunakan tenaga matahari, dasi kupu-kupu dengan alat pengubah suara, jam tangan dengan senter dan jarum pembius, serta ikat pinggang yang dapat mengeluarkan bola karet dengan ukuran yang dapat diatur.
